There is a need to create that drives me. It resides in the depth of my soul and never settles. It is constantly propelling me forward. It causes me to grab a niece by the hand, put her in the car, drive her to a field, grab the barrette that dangles in her hair and put her in front of my camera. As my camera clicks away, I have joy........

Ice Fishing | Personal Project| Bend, OR Lifestyle Photographer
My hubby loves all things fishing. He eats, sleeps, and thinks fishing. When our first child was born, (a daughter) he would stuff her in the front pack and head to the river with her. Her head would bob from side to side and she would fall asleep to the sway of his casts. Since the kids could grasp a pole with their chubby, little hands they have done so. Any excuse to head the river is a good one for the hubby. And so, even when ice freezes a thick blanket over the pond, they are game for a little fishing. We took the boy out on a recent Sunday and he threw rocks to make holes in the ice, spotted some fish and tromped through dirt. It was a good day....

I sure love a belly bump, a cute family and a tiny pair of shoes!! This session had all three on a recent January Downtown session. Little Arie is going to be a big sister and she is SOOOO excited indeed!! She is already protective and showering the tummy with the sweetest kisses.
