Mythical Field

Summertime gave way to cousins and imagination.  For days, this group of kids found outfits, adorned them with weapons and jewelry and played.  They gave each other Greek names and researched what traits their namesakes held.  One evening, I piled them into my car and headed out to a favorite summer spot of mine.  I was in pure heaven.  The beautiful light bathed them as they frolicked away and I snapped my camera.  I just keep looking at these images and imagine them looking at them when they are older and have grown.  I hope they smile when they think of this evening and this magical time.  I am so happy to have this cemented in time forever:)

Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go.....

Everyone says it.  All the time.  It goes by so fast, too fast.  My kids are rapidly growing and their features are changing right before my eyes!!  I want to capture their sweet freckles and toothless grins forever!!(Since this shoot Enzo lost another front tooth.) Since Thursday was the last day of school and Daddy went fishing for the weekend, we decided to head to grandma's house in the woods.  It is a place of reprieve and comfort and a lovely place to begin our summer vacation.  One evening we took a walk down to the river by her house and of coarse I brought  the camera.  The kids brought their stuffed animals and I gladly snapped away since they were happy to have their furry buddies by their side.  (Whatever it takes.)  I am sure they will want to remember these animals when they are older as well.

Bunnies, Bunnies, Everywhere!!

Well, this is a tad late but I thought I would give a quick update on my latest even that was held just before Easter.  The hubby and I decided to take the plunge and get the kiddos a couple of bunnies.  They were so sweet and cute I could not resist the idea of using them in some photos:) Why not? I blasted out an email to clients and the response was HUGE!  The event was such a success and sooo much fun.  The kids loved snuggling with the fluffy bunnies and the bunnies enjoyed the snuggles as well.  I simply set up a cute backdrop in my backyard, used the natural light and prayed the bunnies would not escape or poop on the kids.  Here are some of the smiles I captured...
