I knew this shoot was going to be a fun one and I sure was right!!  I LOVE the Howie family and when we met down by the river right before Christmas, I had perma grin from laughter and the amount of beauty I saw on the other end of my camera.  Take a look at some of our time together....

Waileia wanted her Senior photos to be taken in the snow so we met in the mountains!!  We tromped through deep snow and I captured beautiful Waileia in her element.  I am in love with this session so much that it was hard to choose just a few to blog.  I can't even imagine the torture she will go through having to pick just one for the yearbook!!

"Tantie, you have to take photos of me and make sure you get my new socks in the picture."  Yep, new socks are a reason for a photo shoot with my niece and I.  I am just thankful she still wants to be in the same room as me, so any chance to be with her is all good with me.  It was cold.  She did not want to wear shoes.  She did not want a sweater or jacket on either.  She insisted on making weird tongue out faces.  (Apparently it' s the cool thing with all the kids.)  Whatever it takes, I am in.  I know one day when she is all grown up we will snuggle together and look over all the fun photos we took together and she will smile and say, "I am really happy we got a shot of those socks."
